Ingredients:
- 4 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2–3 tbsp brown sugar (optional)
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ cup milk or cream (add more if needed)
- Pinch of salt
Directions:
- Boil the Sweetness: Drop the cubed sweet potatoes into salted water. Boil about 15–20 minutes, till fork-tender.
- Mash ‘Em Up: Drain, then toss back in the warm pot. Add butter, sugar, cinnamon, and milk.
- Mix Gently: Mash till creamy, leavin’ a few chunks if you like it rustic.
- Taste & Adjust: Add a little more sugar or butter if your heart tells you to.
