Ain’t no Southern table complete without pecan pie — gooey, nutty, and golden. Bubba says, “It’s the pie that’ll make your guests go quiet for a minute.”
Ingredients:
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1½ cups pecans
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Whisk syrup, sugar, eggs, butter, and vanilla. Stir in pecans.
- Pour into crust and bake 50–55 minutes till set.
- Cool completely before slicing.
Bubba’s Tip: Warm it up and add a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Heaven on earth.
Storage: Keeps 4–5 days covered, or freeze slices for later.
