Ingredients:
- 6 cups thin-sliced apples (Granny Smiths work best)
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 pie crusts (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tbsp butter, cut in pats
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Mix apples, sugar, flour, spices, and lemon juice.
- Line pie plate with one crust, fill with apple mix, dot with butter, top with second crust.
- Seal edges and cut slits in top.
- Bake 50–60 minutes till golden and bubbly.
