🍫 Bubba’s Chocolate Bread Puddin’ with Bourbon Sauce


Got leftover biscuits or stale bread? Bubba says don’t toss it — turn it into a rich, chocolatey pudding that’ll make you weak in the knees.

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups cubed bread or biscuits
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ÂĽ cup melted butter
  • Optional: splash of bourbon or coffee

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, cocoa, and butter. Pour over bread in a greased baking dish.
  3. Let soak 10 minutes, then bake 40–45 minutes till set.
  4. Drizzle with bourbon sauce or caramel if you’re feelin’ fancy.
