Got leftover biscuits or stale bread? Bubba says don’t toss it — turn it into a rich, chocolatey pudding that’ll make you weak in the knees.
Ingredients:
- 4 cups cubed bread or biscuits
- 2 cups milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ÂĽ cup melted butter
- Optional: splash of bourbon or coffee
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, cocoa, and butter. Pour over bread in a greased baking dish.
- Let soak 10 minutes, then bake 40–45 minutes till set.
- Drizzle with bourbon sauce or caramel if you’re feelin’ fancy.
