This ain’t that instant stuff — this is stovetop puddin’ made slow and creamy with butter and brown sugar.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Pinch of salt
Directions:
- In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar till bubbly.
- Stir in cornstarch and salt.
- Slowly whisk in milk and cook over medium heat till thick.
- Stir in vanilla and pour into cups. Chill before servin’.
Bubba’s Tip: Add a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of sea salt — fancy, but not too fancy.
Storage: Keeps 3–4 days in fridge.
